SCAC through Day 2

We moved from 6th place to 4th today with a score of 312 which was the second lowest team score of the day. The wind was up making the course much more challenging today. Below are our scores so far.

SCAC Qualifier Finished

The qualifier for the SCAC Championship finished with 18 holes on Friday at Old Brack. Felipe shot 72, TY finished with 80 and ELG shot an 83. Felipe and TY will compete in Mississippi this week. The final leaderboard is below.

SCAC Qualifier Round 2

The guys were able to complete 18 holes at Oak Hills Country Club. The weather and the course were great so it made for a fun day. TY shot a stellar 71, playing his final five holes at -2. ELG shot +4, 75 and Felipe finished with an 80. After 27 holes, the leaderboard is:

ELG +12
TY leads the qualifier with 18 holes to play.

Felipe has been working on his setup to minimize some excess distance his lower body travels during the swing.

West Region Invitational

Our guys competed in the West Region at Berry Creek Country Club winning a tiebreaker for 2nd place out of the 10 team, 60 player field. Despite a low score of 75, the guys managed to control the damage and turn in consistent performances that bested the majority of the field. The 6 shot range from 75-81 was the smallest all year, which ultimately led to the tiebreaker victory as the average drop score for the three rounds was 80.33 compared to Concordia's 82.33.
