After the Jekyll Island tournament, golfstat.com has updated the individual player rankings. ELG and Yoeff picked up a bunch of wins against the competition with their T39 finish. Our team improved from 69 to 59 as well.

With our 305 third round, we moved up to finish at 19th.  We had a chance to compete against some different SCAC schools for the first time going 2/4 (Centre, Oglethorpe, Rhodes, Birmingham Southern, Millsaps and Sewanee). With the winner of conference earning the automatic qualifier, we will need to play our best golf of the year to play at nationals

ELG lead the 150 player field with 6 birdies as he finished just before dark. Yoeff played solid except for a quad on #11. ED and Austin both righted the ship shooting 37s on the back side. We are the first team to tee off tomorrow morning so hopefully we can post a good score and make the cut.

Qualifying at Old Brack

Three guys are qualifying for the last two spots at our next tournament. Yesterday's round was at Brackenridge Park.

Schreiner Spring Shootout

A special thanks to the Brock family for allowing us to stay at their beautiful ranch. The guys didn't want to leave. Logan gave us the five star treatment and we all had a great time.

As usual, Comanche Trace was in great shape and the greens provided the best and most fair test to date.

ELG played some great golf with 7 subpar strokes on the second day alone! His T1 performance is the best by a first-year since I've been around the program. We have a lot to work on as a team, but the improved second round was a great step in the right direction.
